Never get a tax notice you didn't see coming.

Tell Karr what happened in plain words. It writes the entry, puts GST on every bill, and your accountant works in the same books.

Chapter 1

Tell Karr what happened

Say it in plain words. Karr writes the entry, checks it and files it in the right place.

The phone is the office
  1. 1

Open Karr on your phone and the money is the first thing you see: in the bank, owed to you, owed by you.

  2. 2

A bill goes to the customer from your own WhatsApp, from the same screen.

  3. 3

And Karr tells you, on the phone, the moment something needs you.

Chapter 2

Selling and getting paid

Quotes, orders, invoices and the money that comes back.

Follow one invoice
  1. 1

You tell Karr who bought what. It writes the invoice and works out the GST on every line.

  2. 2

Saving it posts the sale: what the customer owes on one side, the sale and the GST on the other.

  3. 3

The same figure is in the books at once, and the trial balance still agrees to the paise.

  4. 4

The GST waits in the month's return, worked out from the invoices already in the books.

  5. 5

And it adds up into the year, so the annual return is already written when its date comes.

Chapter 3

Buying and paying

Bills in, payments out, and nothing paid twice.

Chapter 4

Bank and cash

Every payment in and out, matched to the bank.

Chapter 5

Tax, on time

Returns built from your books, deadlines watched for you.

The notice that never came
  1. 1

Karr reads your books against the tax law every day and counts what could bring a notice.

  2. 2

Each risk carries the rupees at stake and the date it turns into a problem, with the fix beside it.

  3. 3

You fix it in the books, the flag clears, and the notice never comes.

Your GST on every bill
  1. 1

Every bill carries your country's GST, at the right rate, worked out line by line.

  2. 2

Karr adds it up as you go, so you always know what you will owe.

  3. 3

And every date you must file by sits on one calendar, worked out for your business.

Chapter 6

Stock and making

What you hold, what you make, and what it cost.

Chapter 7

Your people

Salaries, leave and claims, and the papers that go with them.

Chapter 8

Your numbers

Reports you can trust, because every figure leads back to an entry.

Chapter 9

Year end and audit

Close the year, sign the statements, hand the auditor everything.

Year end signs itself
  1. 1

Close the year and the statements are drawn from the books, ready to read.

  2. 2

Karr walks the audit with you, one thing at a time, starting with who the auditor is.

  3. 3

Directors sign the statements by a link on their phones, with nothing to install.

  4. 4

Then the company's forms (AOC-4, MGT-7) are filled from the signed year, ready to file.

Chapter 10

Company law

Meetings, registers and the yearly forms of a company.

Chapter 11

Built for your trade

Restaurants, labs, trusts and online sellers get screens of their own.

Chapter 12

The agents

Named helpers who do the routine work, on your own AI key.

Chapter 13

Moving in and setting up

Bring your books in, tell Karr about your business once, and invite your team.

Verified books

A robot accountant checks your books every night.

Karr runs a battery of double-entry invariants across your ledger nightly — the same checks a senior accountant would, automated. You wake up to a score and a plain-language report, and can hand a lender a signed certificate of self-verified books.

An automated consistency check — not a statutory audit.

FAQ

Common questions

Every new business gets 30 days of Karr free. Signing up asks for no card and no payment. After that, plans start at ₹499 a month.

No. You tell Karr what happened in plain words, one question at a time, and it writes the entry.

Only if you want it to. AI in Karr runs on your own key from Gemini, Claude or OpenAI, added once in Settings. Karr never runs AI on a key of its own.

Each business is kept apart in the database by row-level security, so no other business can read its books. Your data is encrypted at rest by our database host. Every change to invoices, journals and payroll is written to an audit trail that members can read and nobody can edit. We do not sell your data.

Yes. Karr prepares the GST return, the tax deducted at source (TDS), the income tax return and a company's yearly filings from your books, and files them with you.

Yes. Customers, items and opening balances come in from a spreadsheet, and a whole ledger can come in from Tally.

Yes. Invite your accountant with the role you choose, and they work in your books from their own login.

Sending email from your own address

Karr sends the paperwork your business already sends: invoices to customers, payment reminders when a bill goes overdue, and compliance notices to your accountant. Those should come from you, not from a software company's address — so Karr lets you connect your own mailbox and sends through it.

If you use Gmail or Google Workspace, you can connect it in one click. Karr asks Google for permission to send mail on your behalf, and for your email address and name so it can show you which mailbox is connected.

Karr cannot read your email. It cannot open, search, download, forward, change or delete a single message — the permission it holds only allows sending, and no other access is requested or possible. Your messages are never stored on Karr's servers.

You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Email, which deletes the stored credential immediately. Mail providers outside Google are supported through standard SMTP, so connecting Google is always optional. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
