Karr Health, one health system

A lab, a scan centre, a clinic or a hospital runs on one patient record, and every bill lands in the books.

Say what your place has, a lab, doctors, X-ray and scans, a pharmacy or beds, and Karr turns on those departments with Reception. One patient, one price list and one stock for all of them. A lab that hires a doctor switches on Clinic and nothing is typed again.

Since it shipped

  • Sign in with the hospital's Google or Microsoft

A group on its own email domain signs staff in with Google or Microsoft, matched to the email on their row; nobody else gets in.

  • The hospital's own name and logo everywhere

Its name, logo and letterhead now head the shell, the sign-in page, every printed paper, patient links, the corridor board and booking.

  • The hospital's own sign-in link and QR

Owners copy the hospital's sign-in link, send it on WhatsApp or print its QR for reception; a phone that opens it remembers the hospital.

  • A display board for each department

A TV in the corridor shows the token being called and its room, each room, and who is next. Tokens only, never a name.

  • A hospital pays per bed, never per person

Staff logins are never counted as seats. Team & Roles says how many hospital people hold none; only the finance seats count.

  • A queue for each doctor

Each doctor sees their own queue and presses Call next. Reception moves a patient; a referral gets its own token and fee.

  • Appointments on each doctor's hours

Reception books from a day grid of each doctor's slots; online, a patient picks a department, a doctor and a time, and sees the fee.

  • Claim settlement, and denials that teach

A remittance clears the claim; a short payment or a denial becomes a payer rule shown at the next pre-authorisation.

  • Claims as receivables

An insured stay is billed to its payer at discharge, only when approved and its papers are complete; the claim is a receivable.

  • Clinical analytics from the record

Length of stay, readmissions in 30 days, infections from the codes, deaths, theatre use and turnaround, each naming its rows.

  • Discharge summary, ICD-10 coding and medical records

Summaries drafted from the record and signed, never altered; ICD-10 coding; every release of records logged; death and birth registers.

  • Doctors, fees and clinic hours

Under People, each department gets its token code and clinic, and each doctor a first-visit and follow-up fee, clinic hours and leave.

  • Each person opens on their own work

A nurse opens on her ward, a doctor on the clinic, the owner on this morning. A ward tablet switches person in one press.

  • Emergency: triage, the board and the MLC

Triage on five bands, red first; unknown and brought-dead patients; a medico-legal case with its police intimation that is never altered.

  • Hospital staff sign in with a badge number and a PIN

A ward tablet lists who may sign in there: tap a name, type a six-digit PIN, and the screen is yours. Five wrong PINs lock it.

  • Incidents and NABH indicators

Anyone reports an incident or near miss, even without a name; owners review the root cause; the indicators count from the record.

  • Karr Health has its own face

Under /health and at health.karr.pro, the hospital shows its own name and each person only their desks. Books stays one press away.

  • Kitchen and housekeeping

The kitchen sees each diet ordered and never serves nil by mouth; housekeeping frees dirty beds and sees how long each waited.

  • Money analytics for a hospital

Billed tied to the books, earned per bed-day, the cost of a case, who paid, claim days and denials, each consultant.

  • Payers, cover and pre-authorisation

Insurers, TPAs and schemes as payers with their tariffs; the cover on a stay; pre-authorisation and every step, kept.

  • Radiology: safety first, critical calls, addenda, images

Pregnancy and contrast checks before X-ray and CT, a dose register, critical findings told and logged, addenda, key images, earlier scans.

  • Reception allots in two taps

Tap a department and Karr suggests the doctor and says why, shows the fee, and gives the department its own token, like CARD-013.

  • Reception at a thousand visits a day

Reception and the doctors list now open on the first 50 and show more on a press, so a busy day stays fast on a phone.

  • The drug chart, with a safety bar at the bedside

Doses due by the hour; band and pack scanned, allergies and serious pairs refused, a witness for high-alert drugs; each dose is billed.

  • The duty roster, with the licence watch

HR sets who is on each ward and shift; a ward tablet lists who is on duty first, and expired or missing licences are named.

  • The hospital’s people, loaded from HR’s sheet

Load 3,000 people from a CSV or Excel in one press; each gets a hospital role, a department and a login with a PIN.

  • The morning screen

Beds, emergency, theatre, who is getting worse, cash, claims by age and the profit of yesterday, in one read for the owner.

  • The nursing chart, with an early-warning score

Nurses chart vitals, fluids, notes and the care plan on a phone; NEWS2 flags who is getting worse on the bed board.

  • The profit of every admission, now

Each stay shows what it earned less medicines, doctors' shares and bed cost, by ward, doctor and payer; owners and billing only.

  • Theatre, with the WHO safety checklist

Book theatre cases, run sign in, time out and sign out, keep the anaesthesia record, and trace every implant by lot for a recall.

  • Ward orders, verified by the pharmacist

Doctors order medicines, tests, diet and order sets from the ward; a pharmacist verifies each medicine and its doses are scheduled.

  • Beds and wards, with a bed board

Admit into a free bed, move between beds, and each night in a bed is charged at its room price. Karr HMS is now Karr Health.

  • Bill a visit at the counter, straight into the books

Add the tests, scans or consult, take the payment: the invoice lands in your books by department and the patient gets an itemised bill.

  • Deposits and the discharge bill

Take deposits, watch the running bill against them, and discharge with one bill once nothing is left open or uncharged.

  • Health businesses say what their place has

A doctor, clinic, hospital or lab ticks Lab, Doctors, X-ray and scans, Pharmacy or Beds, and Karr HMS turns on those departments.

  • Pharmacy: the prescription goes to the till

Pick a prescription into the till in one press; Schedule H1, X and NDPS sales enter their register, and the bill carries your drug licence.

  • Radiology reports and Form F

Report X-rays and scans from templates, sign them, send them; an ultrasound in pregnancy cannot be saved without its PC-PNDT Form F.

  • Reception gives a token in seconds

Find a patient by the last digits of their phone or register them, give a token, and call, finish or clear the queue, even on bad wifi.

  • Smart checks on every prescription and test

Allergies and serious drug pairs are checked as the doctor writes, a repeat test says when it was done, a critical value reaches the doctor.

  • The clinic: appointments and the consult pad

Patients book online or at reception; the doctor writes vitals, an ICD-10 diagnosis and the prescription, orders tests, books the follow-up.

  • Turn on Karr HMS in one press

Turn on Karr HMS or Karr Travel in one press, then untick any department you do not run.

  • Visiting doctors paid in one run

Set what each doctor earns once; at month end one press books their bills and pays them with the tax taken off (TDS).
