Stock you can trust
Stock moves with every bill and every sale, across warehouses, and Karr tells you what sells and what is stuck.

Books Health checks your stock is really counted
Books Health now asks whether things happened, not only whether they balance: uncounted goods, a sale with no cost, and how to fix each.
Karr tells you when your stock is not counted
The side panel, the bill and the invoice now say when Karr is not counting your goods; a service becomes one in a press.
Start counting stock late, and Karr fixes the past
Tell Karr what was on your shelf on your first bill's day, and it turns your purchases into stock and gives each sale its cost.
Tax you cannot claim back is part of what your goods cost
When a bill says its tax credit is not taken, that tax goes into the stock with the goods, so each sale carries its true cost.
Batches and expiry dates, earliest first
A bill says which batch arrived and when it expires. A sale takes the earliest expiry first, and an expired batch is never sold.
Count the shelf, and the books follow
Count many items at once and say why each one is short; the loss reaches the books on the day you counted.
Every sale and bill says which place
With more than one godown or shop, a sale says where the goods leave from and a bill where they arrive. Moves are numbered.
Goods on the shelf the day they arrive
A goods received note puts the goods in stock at the order price; the supplier bill settles them at its own price.
Karr tells you when a cost rise eats a margin
When a bill raises what an item costs and your price stays, Karr offers the price that keeps your margin, or lets you keep it.
Old stock at the old MRP sells first
Type the MRP on a bill and Karr keeps each MRP as its own lot, sells the older one first, and never prices above it.
What sells, what it earns, what to buy
Each item shows how fast it sells and its margin. What is running low becomes a purchase order per supplier.
What you make reaches the books
Finishing a work order or assembling a product moves materials into finished goods in the books, labour included.
Year-end stock papers, from the stock you keep
Write slow stock down to what it will fetch, and print the stock statement for the bank and the record of counts.
Inventory answers seven questions
Stock is on for every business, moves once with its cost, and one page says what you have, what sells and what is stuck.
